Celebrating 25 Years of Service: Satend Singh

For 25 years, Satend Singh has been the warm welcome behind the scenes at Nadi International Airport, ensuring that every traveller enjoys a clean, comfortable, and truly Fijian Bula experience.

Satend’s journey with Fiji Airports began in 1999 as a Terminal Attendant.

Fast forward to today, and he leads the charge as Team Leader – Hygiene, inspiring those around him through heart, commitment and purpose.

Just two days before Christmas, Satend celebrated his 60th birthday and 25 incredible years with us.

“I love knowing that my work makes a difference. It’s not only about cleaning, but it’s also about creating a welcoming environment for travellers and the public,” Satend says.

His story is a timely reminder that every role has its purpose, and that excellence in service is built one thoughtful action at a time.

With accolades pouring in from the public, a simple “thank you” and a tap on the back is all it takes to brighten his day.

He may be 60, but Satend is still going strong, doing what he loves with pride and passion.
